Who Cares

Who cares what I’m goin’ through
Who wants to know these troubles of mine
Who’s gonna stop and listen to my problems
Who’s gonna give me that kind of time
Who cares - the question I keep asking
Who cares - the dull refrain
Who cares - there has to be someone
Who cares enough to want to see me on my feet again
Time won’t always tell us why
It comes. It goes. It passes by.
While we continue trying to find
Someone to give us some kind - of reason
So I’ve concluded on my own
And I’ve become a better man for having known
The gentle touch and caring smile from someone . . .
Who cares
Thank God for the healing arts
And every soul that’s been set apart
To mend broken bodies and broken hearts
To be someone . . . who cares
Then the righteous will answer him saying, "Lord, when did we
see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked
and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison
and visit you?" And the King will answer them, "Truly, I say to you, as you
did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me," (Matthew 25:37-40)
