Giants Among Us
There are giants among us my friend
Hidden in the frames of women and men
Some of their stories are told, some we’ll never know
But it hardly matters to them
O sing of Irena’s brave deeds
Of the children she valiantly freed
And the lives that were spared when she chose to care
And think less of herself than of these
There’s a world so distraught and deranged
Hearts filled with fear and broken by pain
But despair and distrust break down into dust
When a brave soul decides it must change
So look in your heart and you’ll find
What it is only you can provide
