Psalms and Hymns and . . . Carpenters Songs?

Bob Jenkins, my songwriting friend since back in the 70’s coffee house days, wrote a song called Heaven’s Jukebox that states “There’ll be no sad songs on heaven’s jukebox.” This has caused me to wonder, just what songs might be on that jukebox?
As recently as this morning (shortly after my second cup of coffee), two songs by siblings, Karen and Richard Carpenter, came to mind as prime candidates to be spinning on that ‘jukebox in glory.” They are - We’ve Only Just Begun (Paul Williams and Roger Nichols) and Top of the World (John Bettis and Richard Carpenter).
. . .on earth as it is in heaven
“We’ve only just begun to live” and “there is wonder in most everything I see” are phrases that certainly describe being alive here on earth in God’s ever expanding Kingdom where, for now, “we know in part.” Life and wonder will surely be even more melodic when we know things fully - jukebox or not! (just for the record)
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. (Philippians 4:8)
