Day by day,
de Lord, He teachin’ me to live dat way
And when I listen close de Spirit, He say
We only make one day at a time
Sometimes I lives in de future
Sometimes I lives in de past
Sometimes I moves too slowly
Sometimes I moves too fast
So Lord I pray
That you will teach me how to live dat way
I mean - I really need to live each and every day
In your Spirit just one day at a time
Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love,
That we may rejoice and be glad all our days. (Psalm 90:14)
