Where I made my first appearance

In this little Kansas town

I didn’t live here very long

So I never got attached

There’s not enough that I remember

To romanticize the past

But this is where my family met me

And by no coincidence where I met them

We’ve gone different ways, most now departed

We can’t go back but I know we’ll meet again
