Whatever first attracted me
Was more than just amusing
Sights and sounds - alive and loud
On holy ground - just a little bit confusing
Not quite in tune but they would do
You used who you were using
The most unlikely candidates
Vessels of your choosing
In a darkened age where war was waged
A battle raged - but we were never losing
The lost were found as light came down
You used who You were using
I thought I brought my song to You
As an acceptable holy offering
But now I see it came to me
Flowing free and never stopping
From your gentle hand - at your command, a holy plan
You use who you are using
“We are his workmanship . . .” (Ephesians 2:10)
