Sometimes I do stuff
Sometimes I don’t
Sometimes my stubborn will simply, sternly says
“I won’t!”
My smile is quite an introvert
Does not appear upon command
I may not look too happy
But honestly, I am
I keep my eyes wide open
As I try and keep my mouth closed
I prefer my ears take in no more
Than I really need to know
I don’t enjoy the company
Of the obnoxious or the loud
Watch me slowly disappear
From the lonesome confines of a crowd
Eye to eye and heart to heart
Words exchanged in trust and patience
This is where I love to start
A warm and quiet conversation
