The city limits of the Kingdom of God
Are beyond my sight and understanding
Anywhere I turn, then and there I learn
This Kingdom is eternally expanding
I keep bumping in to citizens
At the most unexpected times and places
Brothers and sisters greet me with
Rested eyes and hope filled faces
Suspicion, fear, the urge to judge
This sense of family quickly dismisses
God’s Word greets me from their lips
. . . maybe that’s what a holy kiss is
“Greet one another with a holy kiss.”
