Everywhere I Go

There’s nothing I possess that makes me any better
If I think there is, it only goes to show
That I don’t understand how much I’ll always need you
And that your grace sustains me everywhere I go
Everywhere I go
Up into the heavens
Everywhere I go
In the darkness of my sleeping bag way way down, way down below
Everywhere I go
There’s no place I can hide where you won’t find me
Everywhere I go
Even the middle of the night is like the light of day to you
There’s nothin’ you don’t see
Not a thing that doesn't show
It’s way too wonderful for me
Just to know that you're everywhere I go
You gave me a desire to make you glad you saved me
Beneath the stars my lips raised the prayer my heart wanted you to know
You searched me well and brought light to the darkness I’d been hiding
Your light is always shining, your right hand always guiding, - everywhere I go
". . . even there your hand shall lead me . . ." (Psalm 139)
