DON'T

Don’t try to quench your thirst
With water from a stagnate pool
Don’t expect to satisfy your hunger
With the half-baked bread of fools
Don’t continue in a drunkard’s sleep
When you hear the call for waking
Don’t try and rush the hand of heaven
When time is all it’s taking
Don’t let other’s words disturb you
When spoken in hatred or in haste
Don’t use your words or your mediations
In attempts to retaliate
Don’t forget the loving eyes
Always watching over you
And lift your own eyes up to meet them
In everything you do
“The Lord watches over you . . . “ (Psalm 121:5)
