The bruised reed and the smoldering wick
The tares among the wheat
The sure and steady walk of Micah
Chapter six, verse eight
The certain tone of the Shepherd’s voice
That only his sheep know
The storms and fears that his words calm
All things are under his control
The peace and rest that He provides
The strength that comes to those who wait
From every nation, tribe and tongue - his kingdom
Hearts where Jesus reigns
Those who entered at the narrow gate
Endured the bitter days
The tears that Jesus wept
The tears He’ll wipe away
The glory unimagined, that passes understanding
The purest light creation has ever known
Has been forever shining, in an instant we’ll be there finding
The Savior has finally called us home
“And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may
be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” (James 1:4)
