Anarchy Forever

Born of pride, somewhere in heaven
In a heart filled with unimaginable darkness
The thought arose in the anarchist’s mind
“I will ascend and become like the Most High!”
The firstborn offspring of the father of lies
How this could happen, I can’t explain - yet I can’t deny
Cast out, cast down forever - anarchists all
This act of rebellion would lead to an even greater fall
Nothing new under the sun
Still the same garden variety, ancient lie
Sown subtly, in secrecy in each beating, believing heart
Each an enlightened, modern version of the once Most High
It’s my purpose to rip out foundations
To lift myself up as I tear everything else down
And dwell supremely in my own creation
Where I live and create whatever I will
I redefine all definitions
In submission - or opposition - truth stands still
With the obvious clearly hidden
The work is nearly done
Truth is an outdated concept
Its time has come and gone
My children and my children’s children
Will soon be going home
A family that forever lies
Anarchists everyone
Who spent their lives in blind opposition
Destroying everything they touched
With fiery, selfish conviction, the passion wildly rages
Flames are waiting for us as we will soon collect our wages
We’ll forever be together
To remember all we’ve done
We’ll forever be together
Anarchists every one
“Then he will say to those on his left ‘Depart from me you `who are cursed,
into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.’” (Matthew 25:41)
