Don’t say that I’m a sinner

Just tell me I’m a winner

Don’t wake me from my dream

Of perfect, selfish steam

I’m incompletely free to be

What I decide is best for me

In my own reality

Which I am free to change repeatedly

Don’t use your truth or other proof

To slap me in the face thinking I’ll be disgraced

I refuse to wallow

In guilt, or shame or sorrow

Remember you can be replaced

And the Pulpit Committee meets tomorrow
