A Death Wish and My Legacy

It probably doesn’t fit the conventional notion of a death wish, but when I die (and we each have an appointment), I would be dying in true character, the real me, if I had just finished telling a joke that no one got, - until after I’d "left the building," so to speak; leaving a situation where “the audience” really wants to laugh but can’t decide if it would be proper to do so. My legacy is another matter:
My Legacy
The legacy I hope to leave
Is to have played an influential part
In the lives of three husbands
And three fathers
Who loved their families for all their lives
And always loved them with all their heart
". . . as it is appointed . . ." (Hebrews 9:27)
